Venkat Erella, M.D.
Dr. Erella is a board certified plastic surgeon with over 15 years of surgical training and experience. After completing medical school, Dr. Erella did a five year General Surgery residency, graduating from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Northwestern University, Chicago. He went on to complete his Plastic Surgery residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit in 2006.
Following this, Dr. Erella completed an extra year of advanced fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic surgery and worked as an Instructor in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. During this time Dr. Erella learned several advanced techniques for facial aesthetic procedures, aesthetic breast and reconstructive surgery, and body contouring procedures including post bariatric procedures.
Dr. Erella’s main interests are facial aesthetic surgery, breast and body contouring procedures. His philosophy is that the patient should always be well-informed of all the available treatment options and results enabling them to actively participate in the decision making process.
