Carolyn A. Gutierrez, RN, BSN

Carolyn Gutierrez is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors of Science from Corpus Christi State University. Carolyn has extensive experience performing medical aesthetics including Botox® injections, Dermafillers, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, Sclerotherary, laser hair removal, Microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. She also has experience as an operating room nurse, operating room circulator, and medical surgical nurse.

Carolyn is certified as a Laser Operator/Aesthetics by the National Council on Laser Excellence and is a member of the National Nurse's Honor Society.

Jaime A. Gutierrez, MD

Jaime Gutierrez, MD received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Domingo and then went on to receive his Fellowship in Cardio Vascular Anesthesia at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Gutierrez experience includes staff training in the Anesthesia Program at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, founder of the Anesthesia Department of the Cardio Vascular at St. Joseph 's Hospital in Houston, and Chairman of the Anesthesia Department and Chairman of the Pulmonary Department at Detar Hospital in Victoria. At Citizens Memorial Hospital in Victoria, Dr. Gutierrez was the founder of the Department of Anesthesia for Cardio and Pulmonary Surgery, Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia, and he established the Department of Pulmonary Therapy and Intensive Care.

In 1999, after a brief retirement, Dr. Gutierrez reentered the medical field with an interest in the new generation of skin treatment technology and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Guteirrez's experience includes performing Botox® injections, Dermafillers, Sclerotherapy, Mesotherapy, Microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, photofacials, facial resurfacing, and chemical peels.

Dr. Guteirrez has had extensive training in SmartLipo including working with Dr. John Ferguson who was one of the first doctors in the country to perform SmartLipo and with the world-renowned Dr. Alberto Goldman of Brazil.

Dr. Gutierrez is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and an associate member of the American College of Cosmetic Surgery.

Emily L. Day, MA

Emily Day graduated in 2001 from Mountain View High School in Missouri . She then spent 6 years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.

Emily's extensive training included EMT school, general nursing practices, IV therapy, injection administration, medication administration, and patient care management.

While in the Navy, Emily's responsibilities varied widely from emergency room care to family practice. Daily activities included minor surgical procedures, general patient care, and wound care.

Emily is currently studying Psychology at St. Edward's University.
