Who is a good candidate for Botox?
Anyone who has moderate to severe facial lines between the ages of 18 to 65.
Who is a good candidate for Dermal fillers?
Anyone who has moderate to severe static lines or folds on the face or anyone who wants to plump up areas on the face.
When will I see results?
Results of Botox gradually appear 2-4 days following the injections. Results of Dermal fillers appear immediately following the injection.
How long do dermal fillers and Injectables last?
  • Botox lasts 4-6 months.
  • Juvederm lasts up to 1 year.
  • Restylane lasts up to 6 months.
  • Perlane lasts more than 6 months.
  • Radiesse lasts a year or longer.
Are the injections painful?
Patients will experience brief and mild discomfort from Botox injections. Dermal fillers typically cause moderate discomfort and for this reason, we prefer to give the patient an injectable anesthesia. Patients may chose to use an ice pack on the treated areas to reduce any pain or swelling. Mild bruising may occur.
What is the downtime?
There is no downtime for botox or dermal fillers. Swelling is common after dermal filler injections and mild bruising may occur.
