Venkat Erella, M.D.
Dr. Erella is a board certified plastic surgeon and a board certified general surgeon with over 18 years of surgical training and experience.
Dr. Erella did his five year General Surgery residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL and then went on to complete his Plastic Surgery residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI.
Dr. Erella then went on to complete an extra year of advanced fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic Surgery and worked as an Instructor in Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. During this time, Dr. Erella learned several advanced techniques for facial aesthetic procedures, aesthetic breast and reconstructive surgery and body contouring procedures, including post bariatric procedures.
Dr. Erella’s main interests are breast, body contouring procedures, and facial cosmetic surgery. He also performs a full spectrum of reconstructive surgery. Dr. Erella’s philosophy is that the patient should always be well-informed of all the available treatment options and believes in enabling patients to actively participate in the decision making process.
